Buying new hardware: Raspberry Pi 3, Aeon Labs, AEO-EZW090-C

Post by Ritmeester »

I want to make a new Domoticz system because my hardware was hit by the induction from lighting.

I see that there is now a new Raspberry Pi 3 and a Z-Wave; Aeon Labs, AEO-EZW090-C (Gen5)

I have two questions;

Does this hardware works with the latest (beta) release of Domoticz?
Is this a good hardware combination?

Or should I just buy the Pi 2b? I don’t use WiFi on the Pi.

Thanks for the answers.

HEllo,

I have a Pi3 and domoticz latest BETA + the Aeotec Zstick GEn 5.

so far it is working well except :

- Fibaro wall plug not being able to use the specified colours i'm asking when it is ON or OFF ... anoying bu tdevice working
- Fibaro flood sensor goind dead in case of reboot ... anoying as it appears as dead .. i have to try to exclude include and see if it solve the problem.

for the rest i'm happy.

Cheers,

Thanks for the answers. I will buy the above hardware and hope that the small problems will be fixed in the future.

In the meantime I was playing with an old Pi 1 to try Whatsapp and some Dahua cam’s With the cam’s I have some strange (I think ) “security” problems what I will ask in a new topic.
