Controler reset and/or controler change

Hello all,

For a reason i ignore my zwave controler decided to randomly crash this weekend ... which result of most of my device connected to it no able to show their setup + group disapeered from the group menu...

Actually i'm using the Zwave.me daughter card that you plug in GPIO and since i have it i have to admit i had some issues with it ... do you recomend me to change it for something else ? like a USB donggle (aeotec for ex)

also the include and most importantn here the exclude seems to be not working correctly since few days ...

also in order to rebuild my full setup i would like to restart from fresh:

- if i don't change the zwave controler how can i reset it tottaly to be device clean in his cache ? and will my zwave devices will only need a reset factory defaults to join the controler ?

- if i change the controler to a usb donggle will a simple reset factory defaults on all my devices will allow me to include them after ?


I really need you help as i spent so much money in zwave devices i can't affoard to stop this project.

any solution is welcome as also any information.
