I am currently in the progress of migrating from Fibaro Home Center 2 to Domoticz running a z-wave.me usb-stick on an Intel Nuc.
Thought I would share some minor things and thoughts I have along the road. I intend to update this list during the progress.
* Z-Wave, when adding a new device and set a name on the node, then set the name as default on all devices
* Z-Wave, group a node's devices in a more clear way on the Device tab, this will make it easier to administrate z-wave hardware with a lot of virtual devices, such as Fibaro Motion Sensor
* Z-Wave, the OpenZWave control panel has a Name and Location property for all devices, Domoticz only stores and syncs the Name. It would be nice if Location would be synced to roomplans.
* When adding a new device, have the possibility to assign a room directly in the "Add device" dialog
* Include icons for Fibaro Motion Sensor, Wall Plug and so on. Would make a nice addition to the interface.
* Add the possibility to set a custom icon for scenes and groups
* On the device-page, add dropdown-filters for hardware, type, subtype; instead of only a freetext search.
* Integrate Telegram as Notification-integration, even if it is possible with Custom HTTP, it would be more user friendly.
* Modularize the notification types as with hardware, so that the user chooses what services to add. Would make it more clean and userfriendly. And would allow easier development of new services from the community.
* Add backup option for cloud storage providers such as Dropbox and OneDrive
* Add native hardware support for Sonos, Chromecast (and other fun hardware)
Keep up the good work!

very handy indeed.

this isn't with a normal other switch. so I don't think it's not an option. unless domoticz has to change his add device wizard..

fibaro icons are under license. but there are many icons to download on the forum. try it yourself.
* Add the possibility to set a custom icon for scenes and groups
custom icons would be the whish of many users for many devices and types. but it isn't a high prio atm.
* On the device-page, add dropdown-filters for hardware, type, subtype; instead of only a freetext search.
good idea. but now you can also sort with a few options so I wunder if this would be added.

There a many scripts and toturials but I hope someone will add it to github.

I think we must think about the design of notifications. there are more and more systems. with also new options.
* Add backup option for cloud storage providers such as Dropbox and OneDrive
gooed idea. instead of the default storage you can use a cloudservice.
* Add native hardware support for Sonos, Chromecast (and other fun hardware)
It's easier to write then building it
Keep up the good work!
thanks for your comments. I can't code so I hope somebody who can would like to add it to the source.

This is how "sub-devices" are presented in Fibaro, maybe something to apply in Domoticz as well? Primarily on the Devices-settings-page.

It would be a lot easier to find when you have ~100 devices, a lot of them with multiple sensors.

Nice list of suggestions. I'm not a coder either but some of what you are saying seems rather simple but would make things a lot better for Z-Wave too.

Another one thing is to add timer field in blocky for IF condition as it made in Fibaro scene editor:

Motions sensor has no motion for 60 seconds.
Like so (this image from photoshop):

Set OFF, of course.
For example, I need to check if the some device was On for 300 seconds. Or sensor has no motion for 10 minutes and lights will be Off.
Current blocky settings doesn't allow to do what I want without lua coding.
