Add RFLink as hardware

Post by blackdog65 »

Hi guys,
I'm running Domoticz v3.5163 with Armbian Jessie on a Cubie Truck.

I've just got a new Arduino mega clone today and decided to give it a quick test with a cheap Chinese transmitter and receiver (I know these are not good).
I uploaded firmware R39 on my Windows PC.
When connected , in Hardware the usb option /dev/ttyACM0 becomes available, but I cannot add "RFLink Gateway USB".
I click add, the screen refreshes, no change and no RFLink.
I updated to R41... no change
Tried different usb ports (both physically and by selector dropdown)... no change.

I have little doubt that I've missed an obvious step (I usually do  )
An ideas? Or is it a Domoticz issue? Though I can add other types of hardware.

Many thanks

Sean

Hi,

Please see my update in viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12063&p=86930#p86930.
I was able to pull an old commit, build that version and it runs without any problems.

Seems like i have the same problem with the latest stable version V3.5166.

I'm not so good in Linux yet so if there are anybody out there that can write step by step how i should do in Terminal to revert to the previous version it would be nice. :)

Thanks!

hmm... I managed to bend my Domoticz beyond repair and had to reinstall. So I'm back to square one.
We'll have to wait patiently for an update.

Fixed, this was caused by pull request #657 (among other introduced issues)
No serial hardware could be added
