A range of low cost devices are coming to market using the Bluetooth Protocol to communicate with smart devices. As protocol Bluetooth is not a secure pipe. Still it is been used for measuring probes very well. Now the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) provides extra options to get BLE Tags, iBeacons, lamps, drones even wall mirrors to communicate with smart devices.
Thinking all the applications that can be build on BLE, i suggest to developers & forum moderator group to think about creating a seperated session for Bluetooth & BLE protocol.

Re: Bluetooth (LE) Protocol Addition
The idea of being able to use fitness bands for two factor authentication, location or presence detection is very appealing so I'd definitely vote for this. No other takers?
