Ok so I live in texas and have a funky energy plan where my electricity bill will be about $12 if I use exactly 1000kwh per month and it would be like $200 if I use 2000kwh. Marketing gurus must have really done their homework. In texas we can access our smart meter data through a website called smart meter texas. It is usually 2 days lagging but you can see why this would be useful already.

I would like to set up somehow for domoticz to reach out and query that number and update it on my home automation display. With this number I can set up some logic to really dial into that 1000kwh with all my existing home automation. I can see they have some user interface to add in home devices and ask for mac address and installation code.
Does anyone have any ideas for this? This would be a huge help!

Re: Query my smart meter data from website
also, as an important note I do not have access to the meter itself so I cannot place a node on it.
