Hi,
I cannot find out how to add 2 switches to one venetian blind.
In my house I have 6 venetian blinds (rolluiken) that must be operated with separate switches for up and down. (4 x Fakro and 2 x Velux(not wireless operated))
I already configured 12 relays on a board and connected it to the switches but would like to have one (venetian blind) switch on the dashboard / frontpage per blind with just a up, stop and down button.
Stop is done by pushing both switches at the same time.
It hard to find out how to configure two hardware devices(so two index numbers) to one venetian switch.
Did someone have this? I saw that G3rard had this on his last Frontpage for the sunscreens.
The system is running on Raspberry Pi 2, Domoticz version 3.4834 with a relayboard (GPIO connected) with 16 relays and several MySensors.

Re: Venetian Blinds with two buttons/relays each
Well thank you all for the replies
I finally managed to work this out:
1. Create on/off switches to the hardware up and down relays of the blinds
1. Create a dummy hardware device and name it something like dummy_blind_1
2. Create a dummy-switch manually with the dummy hardware device you just created, switchtype Blinds or Venetian Blinds (stop button doesn't work).
Do not change anything on the X10 part of this switch.
3. Create a blocky where you use the dummy to decide whether you push up or down and refer to the up and down relays of the blinds.

Re: Venetian Blinds with two buttons/relays each
Hi
I'm trying to manage my blinds with a four relay with RFLink.
I have created four manual devices associated to RFLink HW and each device is working On and Off.
Since one blind will be managed by two relays, one for up and one for down, I need to be sure that when activating one of them the other is surely Off before going On
So I created a virtual Venetian Blind EU switch and I have for two blinds this situation

The I created a Blocky script like this

I tried also with a Lua script, but I don't get what I want
The switch Off of the second relay, does not work, and sometime neither the On of the first one.
If I click on the device directly it works perfectly, both On and Off
Any advice?
Thanks

Re: Venetian Blinds with two buttons/relays each
Any suggestions?
I'm getting mad since I'm not finding any solution on this.
Recapping, I have to 433MHz relays controlled by RFLink.
They control a blind, one for the up command, one for the down command.
I need to be sure that when pressed one command, the other have to be Off, before setting the On command to avoid problem with the blind motor.
And also I would like to set a timing to be On, in seconds.
Having the possibility to Stop both of them whenever I want.
I have some knowledge of coding, but I'm not finding the right way to do it.
Hope that someone can give me some suggestion.
Thanks

Re: Venetian Blinds with two buttons/relays each
I would consider using a switch spesifically made for blinds/screens/pool-covers etc.
Intertechno has two different once, the cmr-500 and the ITL-500.

I have used the Nexa EJLR-1000 wich I beleive is the same as the ITL-500 (just different branding), and this works perfectly. Just select Blinds / Venetian blinds as switch type in Domoticz and you're set to go.
