Merge units/readings

I have a owl power meter. It has just been reset and the logging from the last year is now on a dead "unit".

Is it somehow possible to merge the old and new units, or at least transfer the readings/log to the new unit somehow?

I have the same issue. When I excange the batteries of my weatherstation (Alecto WDS-19) the sensor pops up under a new idx number and starts logging all over. Is it possible to merge the data of the old idx with the new one.

I could make a script to plug the incoming data from the new idx into the old one. This is kind of messy however. A better way would be to be able to tell Domoticx idx xxx is actually the same as idx yyy.

Reviving this old thread…

I'm having the same issue that was discussed but I don't seem to have the option to transfer data between devices like it's mentioned in the older post.

I could do it via SQL, but it's cumbersome.

Any ideas?
