Can I control color/dim -level of lights using scenes/events ?

I want to control my light so that if a sensor in my mailbox triggers I want to flash kitchen-light with green color, or if doorbell triggers flash red light and similar. Is this possible using Domoticz?

Yes this is possible. You can set different light levels/colors using scenes. I used it to build a flasing red/blue light. For when my alarm goes off

I don't understad. If I select "add device" in scene I only get an popup telling me to press a button on remote.

For testing purposes I want to try if kitchen-lamp is on flash hallway-lamp green. I understand how to add/select colors on the hallway lamp but cant set a trigger device.
