Somfy telis 4 RTS

Hi,

I'd like to connect my somfy remote and somfy screen to domoticz. When I look in the logging of domoticz I see the following error:
Error: RFLink: Unhandled switch type: RTS

If I connect RFLink to my laptop I see the following commands:

It looks like RFLink can get the data and also translates it but Domtoicz can;t use it because the device RTS is unknow. Is this correct? Is it possible to get it in domoticz?

I have a reaction from Frank of RFLink.

He explains that the code for receiving SOMFY is implemented in domoticz yesterday and that it will be soon available.

The sending part needs some attention in RFLink, when he has some time he will implemented that also.

Got a Aurel rtx mid 5v ans have to be very close from rflink to recieve remote order 1 mètre maxi.

Hi all! Can anyone confirm that Somfy Telis1 remote works with RFLink? Then I will buy one. My centralis does not work with RFlink (no response). But my RTS Oximo motors are also able to 'talk' with Telis.

Good morning!

I have a Telis4 Remote to control my Somfy Roller shutter.

The RFlink recognizes the signals, see Debug log below.

When I press the button "Learn Switch" Domoticz learns the Signal. Then When I press Up or Down on the switch in Domoticz....... nothing happens

So it seems The RFlink is able to pick up the signal and learn it, but cannot send it out.

Any ideas what the cause might be?

Hi Willem,

I'm sort of struggling with the same thing, however i have a RFXCOM (RFXtrx433E), maybe this gives you some direction;

To send my Somfy screen Up/Down i had to use the RFXmngr software first to pair with the RTS motor of the screen.
Following the procedure to pair a second device (such as remote or a switch) to the RTS.
So far so good, i am able to send it up and down from the software right after the pairing was successfull.
Next step was (manually) adding a switch to Domoticz;
- Hardware: RFXCOM
- Switchtype: Blinds
- Type: RFY
- ID: XX XX XX (this is the device ID as set in the RFXmngr)
- Unit Code: XX (also as set in the RFXmngr)

Now i am able to send the screen Up/Down through Domoticz as well.

My current issue is that, since there is no feedback from the RTS motor about current position, Domoticz doesn't know the screen is already down when that's done by the remote outside Domoticz. I would like to catch such actions to trigger a "manual override" status to my automated steering script. However i have no idea how to catch the remote signal since it is not detected by the RFXCOM in the first place, however i actually have the same RFXCOM successfully paired to my screen!? I have a "Somfy - Telis4" remote to use for 4 screens. Anyone who could help me out?

I believe that the theory behind the Somfy remote is that, when pairing a remote with the RTS, a shared "key" is stored in both devices. Without this key, you won't be able to steer the RTS. I'm not sure, but i think that the device ID: XX XX XX (3x2 digits) represent the key.

I paired the somfy screens from the RFLink loader (did it by adding 1 to the original code: "10;RTS;2c2a40;1;PAIR;" when code was 1c2a40).

Did get feedback from the screens and "OK" in logging screen.

The logged code from the remote: "20;02;RTS;ID=1c2a40;SWITCH=01;CMD=UP;"

Now i try to add a manual switch in Domoticz (Blinds, RFY and the same code with 1 added) but the switch won't work..

Can someone give me some advice?

Anyone other suggestions? Otherwise maybe it woudl be best to buy a RFXTRX433E, but that would be a pity because I am very happy with the RFlink. Works on almost everything.

I tried DJgodlikes method. That works. I can pair it using:

10;RTS;[UNIQUECODE];1;PAIR;

The Somfy motor confirms that it has been programmed in the right way. But then the "UP/DOWN" etc do not work. But now I am convinced that it should be able to work with RFlink

I got the screens working with the RFLINK! Thanks to "supermat's" tutorial..

I had to factory reset my Somfy Oximo screens before i got it to work.

I also got it to work with r41 by following the tutorial (with google translate), for the id i had to use hex adresses 0-9 = normal ,10 = A, 11 = B etc.

Thank you for the great tutorial. I've got my blinds working from RF-Link loader with commands 10;RTS;0F0F0F;0412;0;DOWN; and 10;RTS;0F0F0F;0412;0;UP; but when I've add the blinds to Domoticz, nothing works.

I have a question... Is RFlink works only with somfy TELIS 4 ? Because i want use my Somfy Smoove Origin RTS and with this not working.
