DP300Z-2 Dimmer - doesn't update Domoticz of status?

New to HA, but I understand the basics.

I have a Leviton plug in dimmer that works great with Domoticz even though it's completely unknown to it. It turns on/off and I can set specific dim levels and it instantly reports back with it's status.

I've now purchased and added one of my PD300Z-2's, they ARE detected and listed in the manufacturer_specific.xml and has it's own config .xml (https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/bl ... 300Z-2.xml) but it will not update the status to Domoticz at all. If I turn it on they dimmer turns on, but will not show that it's not on and what the current dimming level is, so I cannot turn off until I choose a different dim level that forced Domoticz to know it is on and then I can turn it off. But it then again doesn't know that it is off.

Anyway, I've found this and openHAB .xml file that someone created, and added the classed to the config .xml without success: https://gist.github.com/mtsjtb/a4a6e67bd35750973e99

So I'm wondering if I'm stuck with this not working, or is there anything I can do to move this along to get the device feedback working correctly?

Is the controller (Node 1), in Group 1 of the PD300Z ? (see the dropdown, Groups/Network), also refer to the manual is status updates are send to group 1
