Friedland EVO doorbell in Domoticz/RFXtrx433E?

Post by rolph »

Has anybody got a Friedland EVO 433MHz working with RFXtrx433E/Domoticz? I would like ot connect my Friedland chime (D3003) and extender (D3202N).

Friedland is not on the list ofthe currently supported chimes and google did not give any results. So I just went ahead and tried the protocols via Domoticz. As expected, it did not work.
Has anybody got any suggestions? I have a spare transmittor (=doorbell push button) that I can send/mess up.

If it is not in the database yet, send an email to RFXCom and he will probably add it if you send him the doorbell.

Hello rolph & SDISDI,

I also have a Friedland Evo doorbell setup that I'd like to link up to Domoticz through a RFXComXL. Even though it has been some years since the last post in this thread there is still nothing on Friedland in the firmware updates for RFXCom.

Have already reached out to RFXCom as well, since I can also send them a button for testing and including it in the firmware, but no response yet.

Since it is included in RFLink nowadays, I'm assuming it is possible to get it working.

Did either of you make any progress on this or none at all?

Love to hear from you, but since this is such an old post I'm not holding my breath.

Best regards,
Joris.
