EnOcean and Domoticz

Post by GAKN »

Hi all, yes I'm new to Domoticz, and yes I've looked into the documentation (I didn't find a mass) and searched this wiki for Help, but I am still at the same point.

The wiki doc (https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/EnOcean) tells me that only TCM-120 USB Sticks are supported, whereas my USB300 is well accepted in the configuration (with its ESP3 protocol). The server (on Mac OS X, El Capitan) receives a lot of stuff and claims that Teach-In is required :

etc.

I find over 25 UNUSED devices, all are shown as Ligthing 2:

Some are ON others OFF, if I try to switch one one I get an Error message "Error sending switch command, check device/hardware !"

I've created virtual switches, but without success (if I try to switch one one I get an Error message "Error sending switch command, check device/hardware !")

I use several Eltako FAM14 devices and an impressive number of controlling units linked thereto (see link, http://www.eltako.com/fileadmin/downloa ... 0-2_gb.pdf) and an Eltako GFVS3.0 Home controller, which works fine as a server, but is not very flexible on the access part, namely for its remote access applications (the Tablet app is a mess).

Under the Eltako GFVS system, the normal way is to overlay physical switches by virtual ones, using the PCT14 SW tool. Hence there is no need to physically switch the controlling unit (i.e. an Eltako FSR14 or FSB14) into a LEARNING mode, that is only initially required while pairing the physical switch and the light controlling FSR14 channel (for instance). GFVS uses the information of the physical part to generate all virtual elements in a single run. In a second step, the admin then changes the names of the virtual devices and attaches them to a certain layout or floor plan.

What I'm looking for is

1) The confirmation about the USB300 support and

2) a small documentation which explains the overall possibilities and limitations of the Domoticz-EnOcean combination and ideally shows how to implement basic push button for lights and motorised shades, as well as for the EnOcean Meteo station - I guess the process should be similar to the GFVS3.0 one.

Thanks ahead Gary

I'm using the USB300, and it's working fine.

By the way I used a small magnet to teach in my Eltako sensors (FAH60 and FAFT60)

Both working great by the wat
