TKB Control System TZ67 Dimmer Zwave

Post by sijones »

Hi,

Has anyone got this dimmer and is it working correctly?

Currently if i send 0 to turn it off i get a random value returned as the dim value but the actual light goes off but Domoticz reports it on.

Also seems like if commands go too quick it just drops off the network and ignores all requests?

Possibly going to send it back to amazon if no one has good experience of it - plug in dimmer recommendation? (UK)...

Hi, how did you manage to include the TKB dimmer into the network? Mine won't pair.

I'm using a Aeon Z-stick gen5.

I managed to get it working. I shut down Domoticz, put the Z-stick in exclude mode and pressed the button once on the dimmer. I than plugged the Z-stick back in the Pi and booted it again, in Domoticz I put the Z-stick in include mode and pressed the button on the dimmer again. It got recognize and is now working with Domoticz.

Sadly I am also having the issues sijones described. No fix at the moment?

I sent it back as faulty and won't buy the TKB stuff anymore as i think their firmware might be rubbish... Fibaro stuff seems much better.

My lamp would sometimes flicker, together with the problem above I decided to send to module back. It is very poor quality.
