MiGuard/Chuango hardware support

Post by loozer »

Hi All,

Has anyone managed to get a siren, door sensor, motion sensor or remote key by MiGuard/Chuango and RFXTRXext working by any chance?

Tried activating all protocols, tried learning a button but domoticz doesnt seem to recognise any of the below. Already have tens of other HomeEasy/AC/Byron/Oregon based devices working fine so it's not a general hardware issue (Running 2.3214 on Ubuntu 14.04 and RFXTRXext 248).

MiGuard/Chuango Siren SPS-260
MiGuard/Chuango Key Fob RC-80
MiGuard/Chuango Door Sensor MGM102
MiGuard/Chuango Motion Sensor MGP910

The closest i got to making it work is to use a manually created on/off switch on ARC and then learning the On code on the siren, can't seem to switch it off with the same switch once it's triggered though. If i pair the keyfob to the siren i can triger and switch off the current alarm so its definitely possible, however domoticz seems to be oblivious to the comunication between the two.

I can see Chuango support is added to RFlink already http://www.nemcon.nl/blog2/2015/07/bb not sure how to get it to work directly with just domoticz and RFXTRX.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Did you ever get any progress in this matter, loozer?

I've got the same problem.
Can´t figure out how to make the sensors or triggers show up on my Domoticz.
Have the latest firmware (251) om my rfxtrx.

I've set all protocols, but witch one should be sufficient to Chuango?

Thanx, b_weijenberg.

I'm still not able to bind any Chuango sensors.
Tried with some door/window and a PIR sensors but nothing is showing up in hardware/unit list.
