Thought something had gone wrong with Domoticz because I kept seeing this screen no matter what screen I choose from the app (except settings) - after a reboot of the server hadn't fixed it - thought I'd check to see if the app had been auto-updated and realised that must be the problem.

Found it and fixed it. It's currently being published to the Play store and will be available shortly.

Hope your having a good xmas.

Ive had a tablet for xmas, just wondered if you were looking at providing a tablet layout as I know its currently optimized for phones.? Im going to be using my tablet from now on to control my various remote lights/switches etc and it would be nice to have a tablet layout for my 7inch galaxy tab 3.

Are there any plans to update the widget graphics too?.. im looking at having a homescreen full of widgets but at the moment the graphic is always of a lightbulb, higher quality and different graphic widgets for switches etc would be nice :)

Thanks and happy new year ...

That's a nice present you got from Santa :)
I'm planning on having a tablet layout as soon as I got all the basic functions of Domoticz covered. Widgets are up at the top of the roadmap.

New update published. Added widgets for scenes.

For now I use two icons, one for scenes and one for switches. Some of you requested different icons to choose from. Which icons would you like to have?
I currently use FontAwesome to create the icons but I'm not fixed to that. Please let me know so I can get a sense of the icons that are wanted.

A request for you out there with a weather station. Can you send me the output of this url? http://[your Domotics url]/json.htm?type=devices&filter=weather&used=true&order=Name
I don't have a weather station to test with and I want to start on the weather part. Having the data is really usefull as I don't have to guess how it works then.

Same icons as used in domoticz would be fine, ability to have a name on the widget would be helpful too so you can tell what the widget relates to.

You can add a Wunderground weather station to get (the same?) results. I have and I also have two temperature sensors. Below you can find the output of the URL you requested.

New update coming up.

Added WAN and LAN access to Dromotica. You'll now be able to use Dromotica both when you're home and when you're on the road.

To setup the local access go to the settings menu. You'll see settings for local and remote access. It works based on the SSID of your network. Enter the details for the local and remote access like username, password etc. For local also enter the name of the SSID of you local WIFI network. Dromotica will enter the SSID of the network you're connected to on default. You can change this if it's not correct.

When you're connected to the Wifi network with the SSID as specified the app will use the local server settings. When you're connected to a different Wifi network or via 3G the app will use the remote settings.

To get remote access to Domoticz you'll need to setup port forwarding in your router if you haven't done so. The use of an username and password is recommended.
I haven't build in support for client certificates yet.

Happy new year to you all.

Yes mines crashing, I can't go into the settings or any other option on the menu, as soon as I try the app freezes and then crashes. Tried uninstalling and re installing which let's me go into the settings screen on the first time but after that any attempt to go back into settings etc crashes the app

Had a quick look at the crash report and says something about a null pointer if that helps

Something's clearly not right. When the app crashes please do send the crash report. It helps me pinpoint the problem.
I'll have a good look at it.
