Aeotec Z-Stick gen5 blue red light while pairing
Hi guys,
Today I tried pairing a new device but it didn't work anymore.
When I unplug the Aeotec Z-Stick gen5 and push the button to pair it blink blue one time and then red one time and then it stops, nothing happens anymore. When plugin it back into the USB port domoticz is working like it should. But no new device is found.
Aeotec Z-Stick gen5 is 1 month old.
What is wrong with my Aeotec Z-Stick gen5 USB stick?
Regards,

I've contacted Aeotec and they say that the Z-Stick is the secondary controller (I only have one.). I received a program for Windows that can easily change this setting.
Going to test this and let you all know what the outcomming is.

Sander

Have you tried it with the other way, via OZW control panel (at domoticz)? There's an option to include a node. Hit it, and also start the inclusion according to your new device's manual. I think the windows app will do the exact same thing, it's not rocket science

I also have an issue adding a new device. Most likely due to my noobiness
But, what you mention LouiS22 is that I should be able to add Z-Wave devices without unplugging the Aeotec Z-Stick?

Cool, I'm going to test that when I'm home! I have a Dutch installation of Domoticz. Seems that I should be looking at "Hardware" --> "Instellingen" of the Aeon USB --> "Node beheer" --> "Sensor opnemen". And I assume I have to put the "sensor" in discovery mode then.
I have a Greenwave Powernode 1 that I still need to add. But I think I first need to reset it. I have found a German manual so, that would be the first thing that I will be testing this evening.
Stupid question... If I plug in this powernode in a wall socket, pair it with my Aeotec Z-Wave stick and then unplug the powernode in order to place it in the right wall socket where I actually want it...do I have to pair it again then?

And the answer was no. I was able to pair it and take it upstairs and plug it in there and have it available there.
Only downside is: I have the switch option and the power consumption. Power usage (so the kWh rather than the Watts) is not available. I think I had that with my powernode strip with 6 outlets as well yesterday and after reconnecting or something like that it was there all of a sudden. Or is power usage simply not available for the powernode 1?
