How to get the RGB value from the colorpicker in LUA?

I would like to have a way to choose a color from my RGB LED strips, in Domoticz. My RGB-controller is not directly supported by Domoticz but I'm able to control it from LUA.

There's a virtual/dummy RGB switch which has a colorpicker popup. Problem is that this colorpicker does not export it's picked color to LUA or to the API, for all I know. There's proof that Domoticz picks it up: there's an empty switch log entry for every time I pick a color. Also the main Domoticz log shows that I touched it.

So, info on how to pick up that color would be appreciated very much.
If it does not involve buying a fancy expensive rgb gadget, that is. I don't mind having to pick it up from an udp broadcast. No problem. I just need a lead on where to start looking.

So, ANY info about this RGB controller is appreciated. For example, if it's only compatible with Hue or Z-Wave, I'd like to know.

..Maybe I could contact the programmer directly, for info.
