kaku dimmer timer problem

Post by cos4x4 »

hi all.

im just started with domoticz on a rbpi 2 with a RFXtrx433E USB, 4 kaku switches , kaku dimmer, 3 Cresta TFA TS34C humidity + temp sensors.
they al work fine except when i try to set some timers for the kaku dimmer.
the dimmer works like this sent on to switch it on, sent on again then the dimmer will fade on and off till i sent a on signal again.
and sent off to turn it of.
now if i set a timer to turn the dimmer on at 17:00h, and i switch it on just before ist 17:00, than its going to fade in and out until i sent a on signal.

im using a kaku remote to set the lights manualy
kaku are on the arc protocol

is it possible to make a script/event to ignore the timer command to sent the on signal if its already switched on manualy with the remote.

thanks in advanced

Remove the timer on your dimmer.
Create a virtual/dummy switch, set the timer on that virtual switch.
Create a blocky/LUA script that will be triggered by your virtual/dummy timer switch. Check for the state of your dimmer. if it's already on, then do nothing. If it's off, then switch it on.

If you're new to blockly/lua, be sure to read up on it: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Events is a good starting point.
