Question concerning a simple remote

Post by Deydier »

Hi everybody,

(sorry for my english, I'm french)
I've got a very simple need : executing an action when pressing a key of my remote control.

The remote : PB-403R, Atlantic's

Image

My RFXCOM USB433 detect it very well (Meiantech/Atlantic/Aidebao protocol)
In the "Switches" panel, I can observe that the 4 alarm buttons are well detected, and I can distinguish them easily : Panic, Disarm, Arm Home, Arm Away ->

But when I try to test which button has been pressed in blocky, this works :

but that DOESN'T works :

Could someone tell me why ?!
(same for "Arm Home" and "Panic" : it doesn't works. Only "Disarm" works)
I've been searching for several hours...

I've even tried Rfxmngr, which gaves me :
status = Group2 or Arm Away
and
status = Group1 or Disarm
for those two buttons.
(Packettype = Security1)

By the way (bonus question) I wonder where those strings ("Group2 or Arm Away" and "Group1 or Disarm") come from ? (what does the remote REALLY send ? Numbers ?) And how Domoticz interprets that as "Arm Away" and "Disarm" in the "Switches" tab.
So mysterious...

Thanks a lot for helping !

Yann

PS: configuration : RPi 2, RFXCOM USB433, AEON Zwave ZStick Gen5

Is your remote working already? I am planning to buy one for my domoticz alarm system. Anyone has an better option? I like the design. It looks pretty cool.
