RFX support for Elmes electronic 433Mhz devices?

Post by lrybak »

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if it's possible to control devices manufactured by Elmes Electronic.
This is polish manufactuer who provides 433Mhz radio receivers, transmiters, PIR, reed switches and so on.

Actually I'm using some of Elmes devices and I'm wondering if it's possible to control them all with RFXCOM.

I spoke with Elmes sales representative and he said that he knows nothing about RFXCOM but theirs hardware uses Keeloq, which means from their point of view it won't work with 3rd party stuff. But as I know every sales representative prefers to sale their stuff, it's obvious ;-)

Do you have any experience with Elmes electronic stuff?
HW: HP dc7900 USD running ESXi, RaspberryPi (few of it), AEON S2 USB stick, Fibaro modules (Dimmers, switches), 1-wire (DS18B20, DS2423), DSC Alarm with Envisalink ethernet module, MySensors, RFLink

Elmes is not on the list of supported devices.

The RFXtrx433E is able to receive the sensors if they use the Keeloq protocol.
Keeloq is an encrypted protocol and without knowing the key it is not possible to use this protocol to control an Elmes device like the alarm panel.
