Custom Icons by other types

Post by remb0 »

Custom Icons are very nice.. I have an logitech harmony / some munual buttons, a wasmachine
but this kan only be set by on/off. not by pushbuttons or others. why not?

Domoticz check names in txt with icon names. and is case sensitive (maybe not nessesary?)

html is case sensitive

at the moment (in code) it is not easy to have custom icons for all switch types

Just upload/overwrite the icons by using SFTP. Easiest option
RPi - RFXtrx433E - Mi Light - ICY Thermostat - Rubicson TX95 - HomeEasy EU - SelectPlus Chime - Elro AB400 - PT2262 Door sensors

Is that in /home/pi/domoticz/www/images?
Would it be a better place to put them in /home/pi/domoticz/www/styles/default/images?
Then you could easily have style dependent icons.

My post was a suggestion for the developers.
It's not possible at the moment, you need to replace the existent icons. I guess after each update it has to be repeated.

Well, well, well, how long does it takes to upload some images?
Icons and style is personal, you can never get a set that everybody likes.

It would be very nice if we could change icons on all types of sensors, switches, dimmers, scenarios etc. in the future. I know it's not easy to implement, but it would be awsome anyway :)
