Hi all,
I was wondering if anybody ever tried running Domoticz on openwrt on a WRT45GL? I have a bunch of those at my disposal and it seems a pity to just trash them.
Kind regards
Steve

Re: Domoticz OpenWRT WRT45GL
Try to compile domoticz on it !
I do this on m'y mybookworld nas who only get 128ram and 330mhz proc.
It takes long time but it works !
Perfect for a USB less server !

Re: Domoticz OpenWRT WRT45GL
I assume you meant the WRT54G series?
Short answer: No
Long answer:
Most of those devices only feature 16MB RAM or less which is not enough. But that's not the biggest problem. Even if 16MB Ram was enough to run Domoticz the amount of flash is still the limiting factor. Domoticz needs at least 12MB of storage (excluding all dependencies and DB). So a USB flash devices is necessary to store all data. Some WRT54G series can be modded to feature a USB port. But if I remember correctly this port is USB1.0 or 1.1 max.
