Deleted devices

I have 2 questions :

1. Is it possible to ignore deleted devices in future searches ?
As it is now, I get all deleted devices back again as soon as I allow to accept new hardware.
2. Is there a way to identify devices by their ID ? Like vendor, etc. ?
Would be much easier to ask neighbors about a specific device instead of switching a device on and off until someone in the neighborhood starts to complain.

Don't delete them, don't add them ass used and give them a name.
