Z-Wave>Me ZME_WALLC-S

Post by Amarog »

Hi everybody,

my first post I know, Yes I registered specially for my problem because reading some topics over here does not help me. So I hope you guy's can help me this way. Here we go.

What I want to achieve:
I've got some old lights hooked up on a Greenwave Z-wave Powernode-1. I've added the Powernode to domoticz and I can switch them on and off in the switches tab. Now I have bought a ZME_WALLC-S Wall Controller. This should control the status of the Powernode. If I push Button 1 the Powernode should go on and if I push button 3 the Powernode should go off.

This is where it goes wrong, I've added the ZME_WALLC-S into Domoticz, configured it in the hardware section. Manual.
Now I can't find the ZME_WALLC-S under Devices... It's just not there.

Second problem, I can't seem to find a tutorial on how to connect both devices, is it done with a script, or simply by assigning one button to an on/off action... Because I can't find the ZME_WALLC-S I can't test things either...

Some screens of my setup:

Thanks Jan for the response. I do think it does not help me further. As you can see in my screenshot my Wall switch is showing up in hardware, it's named and such, I can configure it over there but I don't seem to be able to see the device under "my devices".

Do you have "Allow new devices" under settings set to on?
then press the buttons on the switch and then new devices should appear.

I have the same switch and it behaves the same way as yours.
I think you need to configure the switches to be in "scene" mode for them to show up. It is described how to do it in one of the threads about the switch.
I have directly associated my smart plug with the switch so I don't need to see them in Domoticz.

I think you might be right. The only problem is in domoticz when I wake the wall switch up and set the new configuration nothing changes... I can turn on and off polling but not the other configuration.

I've now changed in my groups & newtork settings that the powernode can be controlled by button 1 and such I think. Nothing happes however. I'll keep trying things ^^

I had to do a number of "send node Id & wake-up" (get it into management mode by pressing all buttons and then press button 2, the led should start alternating between red and green for a short while) before I could get it to accept changed settings.
