Post by Mike9060 »

Hi guys . i recently started with domoticz on a rpi. Everything seems to work normal ( smoke detectors , motion detectors) except my aws-3500 switch witch i can't connect to domoticz. Anyone experience with this problem ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome here!

How did you try to pair it? KaKu should be paired by creating a new switch (clicking "Manual Light/switch"), type AC. Then choose a random ID and click the 'Test' button while the receiver is in the learning mode.
The receiver should click a few times to indicate that is has been paired.

P.S. Topic moved to 'Switches' subforum. The 'Bugs / problems' subforum is only with bugs regarding to the Domoticz application itself.
I am not active on this forum anymore.

In stead of selecting a on/off switch i have selected x10 siren.

Then the switch works like a on/off switch.

These devices use a very basic RF system that is vulnerable to interference from other products that generate RF. You can try to find the source of the interference (e.g. Microwave) or limit the use of devices that send a lot of RF and block the airwaves for some time (like the AWST-6000 and AMST-606). Also keep receivers separated by a minimum of 30cm.
