Just updated to the new version. Dimmer works great switch page also! Really great! Only one thing that I miss is if you change the color of a light (milight my case) I can't set it back to white wit the app.

Could you create screenshots or, even better, a movie to show the problem?

jayjay wrote:Hi Guys,

Really thank you for this application and the work you do.

Just a small suggestion for the issue "Camera issues #128", you have a white screen of the cameras whern you are outside of the lan. May be you can use Picasso with basic authentication to get the camera snapshot.
You need also create a new fullUrl of the camera outside, for exemple in my case to access from outside to my RAspiCam the full Url is :

http://88.xx.xx.122:68953/cam snapshot.jpg?idx=1
http:// Public IP : NAT public port / Camera Url

I think you have all the informations in the app to create this fullUrl outside to pass it in Picasso with basic-auth ;)

Maybe it's impossible to do I don't know, I'm not developper just Sys Administrator. But I think this camera screen interress a lot of person when you are not at home ;)

Have a nice day.
Could you please PM me with your mail address so we can discuss this?
Thanks!

Send port hardcoded. Please fix

Post by ehallq »

I found i bug, I am not sure if someone haft posted this already. I posted this in the bug forum, but I am not sure if that was correct or not so i will post it here to.

So I had a problem with the domoticz app. I could load all devices, read their status and all. But i could not send a command (like on or off etc.). The problem is that the app does not use the user specified port when trying to flip a switch. Iit uses the defaultport "8080". But when reading it uses the user specified port.

I had the server setup like this
lamps.mydomain.se:80 (so i could access the server by only typing lamps.mydomain.se).
Then I forwarded the port 8080 to domoticz so I could access domoticz by myip:8080, then it works.

So it looks like the "send port" is hard coded to 8080 and that the user specified port is only used when reading.

Fibaro dimmer 2, a new bug

Post by ehallq »

So I have multiple fibaro dimmer 2 devices. 1 of them shows up correctly, but the other two have a very short slider due to the "set level" and "level" output of data.

EDIT: Now all of the devices shows up with a short slider. First the slider is long for 0.5 sec, but then Set level: and Level: popup under the data line and the slider gets very short.

App works fine overhere, installed it on divers phones (and tablet). The only thing I realy need is the security panel, as calling the website from certain phones crashes domoticz. Monit resolves this for me by restarting domoticz but it means that we can't use the website to disarm the security panel on these phones.

Maybe good option is also add to settings features to enable dark theme ? User would set light or dark theme.

Widget bug and a wish

Post by ehallq »

When choosing a widget I have a switch called "Rummet" and a thermometer also with the name "Rummet". When choosing between them you wil have to guess which one to be a switch or thermometer, you could maybe add categories?
Could you add sliders to dimmerwidgets? (fibaro dimmer 2)

A bug I found was when choosing my AC devices (433MHz rfxtrx433e) when creating widgets, i get a "random" scene. For example I tried to add a ac device "window room", I get a scene with a whole different name.
