Support for Maplin N78KA

Post by Trippy1969 »

Hi,

I recently purchased a remote socket from Maplin (code N78Ka). I'm also using an RFXCOM433Ext device with Domoticz. Although the RFXCOM lists my device it appears not to work in Domoticz as it appears to need Lighting1, COCO, GDR2). Any furure support for these devices? they nice and cheap so would be great to be able to use these! :D

These are already supported in Domoticz/RFXCOM combination - I have a couple running.

Setup via manual add switch - hardware = rfx (or whatever you called your rfxcom), Type COCO GDR2, and the house and unit code that matches how you have set the little wheels on the "plug" side of the maplin unit.

The remote doesn't work with rfxcom - it can't receive the commands - but it can transmit to the socket.

They seem to work OK - I just wish they would put a local control "big" button on the front of them - that way you don't to worry about having a remote handy or a script for every occasion - you just can turn something on locally when you want it - and still control it centrally when you want.
