Any step for a hint as to when this may become available for use, are we looking at this year or next year?

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
sorry I can't. and please let the devs polish and improve, otherwise they are loosing time with status updates/replys etc while the can code some great things the same time.
I promise that we let It know as soon as we know!
and I expect that it is this year!

Nice pics! It's awesome that this app will follow the material design guidelines for Android, but more awesome will be if it's going to be open-sourced.
If you need any beta testers, count me in. I can test it on various devices.
Some specific questions to the devs (because I'm also developing apps on Android):
1. Are you using Retrofit to connect to the API of the local Domoticz server?
2. Have you considered using Realm and RxJava?

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Hello,
I'm new to this form. In fact, I'm new to Domoticz at all.
Before I used the KAKU ICS 1000, but I got sick and tired of the support of KAKU, or should I say: I don't 'Trust' them anymore...
A few weeks ago I started my Domoticz 'project'.
I made some switches and scenes on KAKU base and I have a Davis weatherstation connected and working on my Synology NAS.
At the moment I use the Dromotica app on my tablet, though some of the Davis Weather and Temp sensors are not working on the app (but visible/working on the NAS).
How is this app project going forth with Davis sensors?
Keep up the good work!

This app is nothing more but an extension to the Domoticz server.Agrippa wrote:Hello,

If the server supports it, this app is (or will with a little help an patient from you) going to support it.

Because Android's programming language is Java en iOS is C#.
And I (and I think Galadril and others) don't own an iPhone and a Apple Developer account is $99,- every year and you need an Mac to develop for iOS (which I also don't own).
