when I added my first devices I did not found it in domoticz with standard protocols, the solution was to enable all the protocols. have well read me afterwards that there is not necessarily a good idea.
The question then becomes:
- How do I know which protocol my stuff uses?
- And what about new devices that are not yet in domoticz?
how to know what protocol new and existing devices use?

Re: how to know what protocol new and existing devices use?
please see chapter 2.2.2 in the RFXtrx User Guide.
For each supported device you will find the protocol used.
For example NEXA learning mode uses the AC protocol. NEXA with address code wheels uses ARC.
Enable only protocols needed. Check also chapter 2.4 which protocols can be used together.

I suppose this is a KD101 type.
Please check with RFXmngr if something received if you press the test button on the smoke detector.
You don't need to enable a protocol for the KD101.
