Re: 20% discount Kaku at praxis.
It's a signal amplifier wich does work with KaKu devices. In that respect it has noting to do with compatibility with Domoticz but rather with RFXCom. It also not necessary (and not possible) to add it as a device in Domoticz.Does somebody know it kaku AEX-701( 433 mhz wireless Amplifier) will work with Domoticz?
Re: 20% discount Kaku at praxis.
But do you think the signal Amplifier will work with the RFXCOM-E?
Please let me know.
My signal is weak and sometimes does not reaches every switch.

The device is not an amplifier but a repeater.
What it does is re-transmitting the code if the code is stored in the internal memory of this repeater.
If you stored the ON code (from a KaKu transmitter) in the AEX-701 it will retransmit the same code after the original broadcast has stopped. If the ON or OFF command is send by RFXcom it will do the same, so in that respect it will enlarge the area if you locate the AEX in a smart place.

Thanks Bernd for you're reply.
Yes, indeed it is a repeater.
I used the wrong word.
I will buy 1 of those repeaters, because it is needed in my house.

Migwelly

If you switch several switches in a row remember to switch the one via the repeater last. The repeater will block the 433 band for several seconds. I use a repeater as well ans with this in mind it works great.
