Hi,
Currently I am using an Oregon THGR800 sensor with my RFLink. This has been working well, until 2 weeks ago, now sometimes I am having problems getting any readings, after a few hours it would pick up a new reading and loose the signal again. I already changed the battery, the channel en its location, but unfortunately no improvement. Perhaps its because its getting colder outside or more humid...
I am willing to invest in a new temperature sensor, but which one...
My requirements
- use for outside. Dont know if there are sensors that can be left in the rain, but that would be ideal
- accurate
- humidity reading is optional
Are there any types/brands that can be recommended? And do you leave your sensor out in the rain?
Ido

Hi,
I'm having a Cresta, TFA TS34C hanging outside for almost two years now, still on the first AA (Alkaline) batteries and it works still fine. Did not even protected it against rain, just hanging at the fence. It's also supported with the RFLink. I also have several of these in-house also working fine.
I'm not sure if you can still buy them, but I'm very happy with these sensors
