ZWAVE DOUBLE SWITCH
Hi
I have added a double inwall switch to my domoticz system (RPi with Razberry) but it only shows up as a single switch.
In the openzwave control pannel it shows as "Schlage Link Unknown: type=1122, id=5501" and has all 3 "switch All" set to disabled??
Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Re: ZWAVE DOUBLE SWITCH
To be clear you are using Razberry aka z-way. Not openzwave?
In that case your out of luck since z-way does not support MultiChannel. Switch to OpenZwave which does support MultiChannel.

Re: ZWAVE DOUBLE SWITCH
@xs4me what do you mean by switch to openzwave? I thought openzwave was running under Domoticz?
Re: ZWAVE DOUBLE SWITCH
Well Domoticz support two different ZWave implementations, Razberry Z-Wave via LAN interface and OpenZWave via USB.
The first one is via Rasberry with a Z-Wave addon board(z-way). The second is via a Z-Wave USB dongle like Aeotec Z-Stick-S2 or Vision ZU1401 USB stick.
So witch one are you using?

I am using Razberry......is there any way of using Razberry without Z-Way?
Re: ZWAVE DOUBLE SWITCH
I don't think so, but since I don't own one I am no expert

Actually @xs4me, i followed http://www.vesternet.com/resources/appl ... _4xlxYU58E and configured the board to use openzwave
Re: ZWAVE DOUBLE SWITCH
Oke good!. Have you tried to excluding and re-including the device already? You can also remove your node from the zwcfg_0x???.xml file and restart domoticz.

Re: ZWAVE DOUBLE SWITCH
anyone have any updates on this? Mine works fine. Just comes up as unknown. No parameters available.
Schlage Link Unknown: type=1122, id=5501
The only issue I've had with this switch is when I'm shutdown the power for the house this switch becomes dead then I have to exclude/include.

You have to check the file manufacturer_specific.xml in the Config folderDuc998 wrote:anyone have any updates on this? Mine works fine. Just comes up as unknown. No parameters available.

If your switch is now supported, you need to either exclude/include again, or delete the zwcfg_xxxx.xml file in the config folder,
but then you have to send all node-information-frames again from all your other zwave devices (press the button)
If it is not inside the manufactorer file (product id/type), then you will have to add support for this.
sometimes hardware can have multiple product id's and types, and you can use this.
But all has to be done for openzwave, best to go to the openzwave website for this
