At the moment I prefer another app. But it has potential.
But nice it's still in development.

Re: Domoticz Android app
I wrote an email to ImperiHome Support to ask if ImperiHome can be used with Domoticz and they answered:
May I ask why Domoticz cannot run directly on an android device, since android systems are based on Linux and Domoticz is a ligth software?
Claudio
After that I found tread: Domoticz integration with ImperiHome UI http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=2713 and I learned that some people are using it and maybe I will try it, waiting for a specific app developed as open source.ImperiHome does not support natively Domoticz system.
However, through usage of ISS API (ImperiHome Standard System), several users developed bridges to make ImperiHome and Domoticz compatible.
iss-domo (https://github.com/bobinou/iss-domo) or MyDomoAtHome (https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/ImperiHome) are some examples.

Re: Domoticz Android app
Yes, it would be nice if we could install it on an android device too!cpighin wrote:

Should be possible to run Linux in a chroot environment. So in theory we can install Domoticz then.
There are several apps to install linux for example linuxdeploy
(Have not yet tried this myself but it is on my TODO list)
Edit: Succeeded to install debian on my androidbox with linux deploy (very easy to do, need root!).
My RFlink seems to work (did not needed to install drivers for it)
My RFXtrx433 still have to try.
But it looks like this will be possible.
Now find time to finish this install.
