New Hardware support
Hi,
Before I go about raising feature requests for the following I wanted to gauge if there is any interest from others on the forum in having these natively supported in Domoticz. I have or am considering purchasing the following hardware:
Heatmiser Neo - http://www.heatmiser.com/neo/ - I have been looking at these as a suitable replacement for my mechanical UK thermostats, they have an API so Domoticz could be integrated. I would be interested in other suggestions that people have, I need 2 heating zones and ideally do not want to use any form of cloud connection
Bluetooth dongle support - my thinking here is being able to ping a Bluetooth Mac address on a phone for example to see if someone is in the house - on Raspbery Pi I did this using a shell script and changing the status of a virtual device in Domoticz but I moved to windows as Pi was unreliable and thought this would be good done natively - I would also be interested in other solutions people might have for this.....
Globalcache - specifically GC100 series - http://www.globalcache.com/products/gc-100/models1/ - I have 1 of these that I can send IR signals to my satellite and receiver with, it would be good to integrate that into some of my Domoticz scenes, e.g. when I press the TV on button in Domoticz this already turns on my TV & Receiver that are connected to a Z-Wave switch, it would be good to also send the IR signal to wake up the Satellite box
Seneye - http://www.seneye.com/ - I have 3 of these monitoring my fish tanks, it has an available API that can be used to query the results - https://api.seneye.com/ - again I have used a shell script to get the information and place it in virtual devices but thought it would be good to have native support
Does anyone have any thoughts on the above?
Cheers,
Rob

Re: New Hardware support
Hi,
Regarding the Heatmiser, count me in:-
All of my automation is based upon the integration of systems such that the systems will still work autonomously should Domoticz fail. This is especially important for my heating controls. I would therefore very much like to see possible integration of Heatmiser (or similar) controls. I shall install Evohome system for my radiators, however this does not deal with my electric underfloor systems. (I have a mixture of both). I would like Domoticz to bring the ability to change set-points / occupancy etc in an integrated way.

I'd love Heatmiser Neo support too. How is the feature request going?

Re: New Hardware support
GC-100 would be nice, I've got a GC-100-12 which I currently switch using Push On switches and python scripts.
Happy to help test the relay part.

Re: New Hardware support
Hello,
what is the protocol of the Neo Stat ?
I'm looking for a thermostat for my house that I can connect to Domoticz (on a RPi), with Ethernet or RFXCom connection in preference.
I saw also the SRT-322, but it is in Z-Wave so I need to spend 60€ more for an USB dongle.
Someone has another idea ?

Re: New Hardware support
I only have the protocols for the hub, not for a single thermostat.

Re: New Hardware support
Hello Arki, I am new to the hole domoticz scene but I would like to have a look at the API. I have over 10 years experience of (web)developing, so I might just get some things done.
Dont have the Heatmiser(s) yet, would like to see the API first.

Hi, is there any news regarding Heatmiser Neo integration with Domoticz?

Re: New Hardware support
I see there's a number of threads and there was some work done to extract current status only, but I'd like to integrate domoticz in with write updates as well as read (ie of temp, whether boiler on) - for example to build a scene "leaving house" where I could reduce the temperature, and "coming home" where I could put it up again. In fact I already do this with the neo iOS app, but it would be easier to integrate everything on the domoticz side
I am a developer, so looking at the api is a definite option, though am new to domoticz, and haven't used the heatmiser neo api before.
Sonos is the other device I want to integrate. for example a "watching TV" scene might stop the audio in other rooms, dim the lights etc, or in future a doorbell push might emit a sound through all speakers in the house. (I am also wondering whether node-red may be a better fit, though it's a more programming oriented approach). "Eating" might put the main lights in dining at a suitable brightness for eating, with some colour for ambience along with some relaxing dinner-party style music etc......
[I already have hue setup, along with a few lightwaverf devices controlled by a rfxtrx433e]
