Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
Cato do not despair I had the same frustrations as you. The good thing is that you only need to do this once per valve and then they work well
The virtual switch should update the comfort set point immediately. If there is no change in your comfort set point (check the utilites tab) then you have something wrong with your switch command. Most likey the wrong node id for the comfort thermostat set point, or your ip/port is wrong, or you have an access password set up. The radiator will NOT respond immediately but will do so within 20 minutes depending or your wake up interval.
on action: hxxp://your ip:port/json.htm?type=command¶m=udevice&idx=id of device&nvalue=0&svalue=22
off action: hxxp://your ip:port/json.htm?type=command¶m=udevice&idx=id of device&nvalue=0&svalue=10
I think you are doing everything right with regards to wake up interval. change the 604620 to 1200 and wake up the device (this is the tricky bit - press the round button with a paper clip for a second or so - the green LED should light up for 2 seconds and the motor will whirl). To check whether this has 'registered' within the stella z you can then retrieve the stored values from device. Do something else for an hour or so and when you check again the correct value should show up.
PS: I am sure you know, but for fine temperature tuning, clicking on the fire icon for each thermostat in the utilities tab will allow to manually increase or decrease this temperature value.
Let me know when you manage to set this up correctly and if you have any other issues

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
Dear gabriels, making progress indeed. Thanks for support. About JSON commands I found out that I have to use the notation userid:password@IP:port since I do ask for credentials even within the LAN. Now the setpoint gets updated.
I also managed to set the wakeup for the stellaZ at 1600 by pressing their button and immediately sending the command. Very happy about it, but still I do not understand if I should enable polling or not. First I had polling disabled for both, then since I was not receiving the temp value (that is supposed to be sent every 1600 sec, right?) I enabled it for one of them. However, now I do receive the update even for the one with polling disabled. I am confused but happy with the progress

Polling will give you temperature readings and valve position updates (% open/closed) depending on your wake up inteval. You can use these readings to activate scenes, control other switches or even turn radiators on using your virtual switches, using blockly or scripts. The batteries will drain quicker with polling. The valve itself will work fine without. Its your choice.

Onyone who like to explain step by step how you get these included?
I don't get any further than green blinking led. Not showing up in de zwave device list.

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
Blinking green light is installer mode (not inclusion mode) and is there just to be able to attack the body of the valve to the ring. For inclusion, keep the round button pressed for 5 seconds (i.e longer than for installer mode), and it should blink red/green. If the z stick is nearby and in inclusion mode this is all that is necessary. I am sorry cannot help with the Razberry. Remember to be able to accept new hardware/devices in the Domoticz settings. Its a bit fiddly but will work eventually.

If I press the button, and keep pressing it, after 2,5 seconds green blinking and after 5 seconds 2 seconds red. After that again green blinking.

Did you try the debug mode?
When you go to hardware and click the setup button of the zwave group you enter the nodes. If you then click the controller once, the settings of the controller appear.
When you enter a 1 in the box in line 2, you start the debug.

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
I must admit it took a while to get the Stella connected and the description of the process for doing that is not clear at all.
Are you sure the Stella is not 'married' to another controller? If so, you first have to disconnect them.
As far as I remember (but I am not going to test it), I first pushed the little button for about 5 seconds, so the device retracts the activator. Then I removed the batteries and waited for about a minute. After that, I inserted the batteries again and set the controller include a device. The Stella then connected automatically.

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
I bought it as new, packaging looked original so I asume it isn't included in any network yet.
Strange thing: after removing batteries for a minute and replace them the led flashes red for 2 seconds.

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
I agree with bertb, they are fiddly to include. Either its already in another z wave network, or the stella doesn't like your radiator valve, or you have a defective unit.
I suggest factory reset (exclusion) first, and also make sure your radiator valve pin is working correctly. Sometimes scale within the valve can cause these to become fixed in position and this will not allow the stella to calibrate - red light. You should be able to push it down about 5mm or so and it should spring back up nicely. I suggest you do this a few times to loosen the valve first
keep us updated

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
What is the procedure for factory reset?
Already tried pulling/putting batteries while Domoticz in exclusion and inclusion mode. Did the same for 2 seconds press and 5 seconds press for the button.
Also found something while googling: press 5 seconds till after the red light and then remove and replace batteries. Also, without any result.

Just got notice from the supplier that I may return the StellaZ. Will order Danfoss then
Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
Intalled stellaz and seems to be ok, but thermostat doesn't work well. it's locked in 27.5º but doesn't update room temp.
enable polling: off
wake up interval 1680 (multiple of 240)
Any help? Thanks in advance

Zofiel, you will need to have polling enabled for Domoticz to receive the values from the StellaZ (or indeed any device!)

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
Hmmm, you should only enable polling for devices that really need it. I haven't set it for any device and everything works great.
What do you mean by 'It's locked in 27/5°'? Is that the thermometer or setpoint or... ?

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
It's the thermometer. Now i performed a clean instalation, with stellaz exclusion, hard reset to the controller and try to perform a inclusion, but now the device doesn't want to work
Now the trv blinkin green and then light red 2 secs when i want to include it... I readed all info in the forum (i think) but the valve doesn't wante to work, It's so frustrating. Any idea?

Nope, that's why I sent them back. Never could include them.

I think that I will do the same.

Re: Howto use StellaZ in Domoticz? SetPoints...
In case you missed my post in the Heating/Cooling forum -
Finally managed to include my new StellaZ valve. Eventually found an on-line quick-start guide that said to push/hold the button down for at least 10 secs, with the controller in include mode. http://www.vesternet.com/downloads/dl/f ... manual.pdf ...
Can't get it out of Comfort mode. However, I can set the comfort mode value using timers.
It also responds to a simple On/Off, so I can control it from the room thermostat.
However, I had to set the wake-up interval down to 300 to get it to respond.
