Return water temperature on Intergas HReco36
I have installed an OTGW last week on my installation (Intergas HREco36 with an Honeywell Chronotherm Touch Modulation).
It all seems so work fine, except for the Return water temperature which is reported as 0 degrees.
I checked the return water temperature directly on the Honeywell thermostat and it also reports 0 degrees.
Now I'm worried that the return water sensor is either defect or not connected properly (or just not reported on OpenTherm by the boiler).
Question:
Is there anyone with an Intergas HReco36 that can tell me if the Return water temperature is reported through OpenTherm?

Re: Return water temperature on Intergas HReco36
I have the OTGW connected to an Intergas Kombi Kompakt HR 28/24 and also no Return water temperature indication.
I think it's not reported via the Open Therm protocol although it should (boiler matrix point 28 OTGW website)..
When the sensor would be defect, the boiler should give an error code in it's display and probably not functioning anymore.
But.... if anyone knows a solution for this, please leave a note

Got the same problem, but when I look at Opentherm Monitor it's also not giving me the return water. (or I wasn't that patience)
So I think it's more a firmware problem as a Domoticz problem.

Same here, I have a Remeha Calenta and this should give the Return Water temperature but in Domoticz it stays on 0,0.

Found it, you need to add the AA=28
The iSense doesn't request the return water temperature. To obtain that information from the boiler you have to add MsgID 28 to the list of alternatives (AA=28)

Okay nice, but is this possible to set from or in Domoticz or do I have to disconnect OTGW and configure it every update on the PC?

You need to set it by using the otmonitor once. Then it will be remembered by the OTGW. The otmonitor can run also in raspbian.Newwolf wrote:Okay nice, but is this possible to set from or in Domoticz or do I have to disconnect OTGW and configure it every update on the PC?

Thanks for the reply.
Already found a good way how to do this.
Maybe nice for people how not found a way: http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... 738#p34738

That works too but the OTGW remembers the setting so connect it to a laptop of PC with the OTmonitor on it and you are able to activate the setting there.

Re: Return water temperature on Intergas HReco36
Just wanted to add to this thread this really worked for my Remeha Calanta as well.
The thread may miss some info for the new user (like me) .
# start to otmonitor.exe
# enter settings
# go to miscellanious
# enter AA=28 in the command windown & press SEND
# press done & go to the log window
# you will see the command stream by
# if you now are patient for a minute or so you will see the retrun water entry getting updated
The interval is a bit high so it may need a little time to get populated. You can also look at the statistics screen for the value.

Re: Return water temperature on Intergas HReco36
People please stay on topic.
The topic is about a Intergas HReco36 boiler.
As I am also a owner of this type of boiler I would also like to know if it is possible to read out the return temperature.
Did someone got it operational?

Re: Return water temperature on Intergas HReco36
I've send the command with domoticz. Go to hardware and click on setup of your hardware item (your OTGW). There you can send any OTGW command. You don't need otmonitor for it.
Works perfectly and now I got the return item value as well....
Note: strange...on the otgw website on this link http://otgw.tclcode.com/matrix.cgi#boilers it says that my remeha tzerra does not support this data-id but it does....
