Graph view custom sensor

I have a custom sensor to display pricing. But this graph has a sloped line when values change. Price changes every 15minutes. So 2:00 - 2:15 is ok, but you see the sloped line to 2:20, but price did already change at 2:15.
But for the next slot, this line is at 2:40, but price changes at 2:45. writing it just before does not help, as this is the way Domoticz draws these graphs.

Can this view be changed to a block graph or bar graph?

I used the managed counter for this, but the disadvantaged here is, that you cannot write min/min values in the day graphs. And for I want this for the history.
