How to add energy dashboard button!

Post by psubiaco »

To add a button beside "Dashboard" "FloorPlan" "Switches"...to see the energy dashboard (without entering Setup -> Energy Dashboard), just

Code: Select all

cd ~pi/domoticz/www
cp index.html index.html.orig
sed -i "s|<li ng-show=\"config.EnableTabDashboard\"|<li ng-class=\"{'current_page_item':getClass('/Energy')}\" id=\"mEnergy\"><a id=\"cEnergy\" href=\"#Energy\"><img src=\"images/energy.png\"> <span data-i18n=\"Energy\">Energy</span></a></li>\n<li ng-show=\"config.EnableTabDashboard\"|" index.html

Wow! How cool is that? With new nightglas theme

it even works on my Smartphone in portrait mode.

Only with the default themes, the word "Energy" is not automatically hidden.

Can't reboot Domotiz now: Will it persist permanently?!

BTW: I am using it ever since then and really appreciate it. Thank you again!

Would be nice to have it as an option built in in domoticz, so you don't have to run the command after every (beta) update.
Stop, look and listen.
