Energy recorded problem

Post by pfloryann »

Hi,

I encountered a problem. When I disconnected a smart plug for a few seconds and then reconnected it, Domoticz recorded the total amount of energy accumulated over the years for an hour. I encountered this on 2 devices several times. How can I delete those values?

Domoticz 2025.2 (build 16997) on raspberry pi 4

Thank you!

The next day you can remove that incorrect value by doing a shift+click on it in the month graph. You will get a popup to remove the value. It will stay visible in the day graph but disappear when that day has been purged.

Then you have to thinker in the database yourself to find the issue (on your own risk). Install "DB Browser for SQLite": https://sqlitebrowser.org and look into a database backup to check and try out.
Then stop Domoticz, modify the database and start Domoticz again.

I'll try. thanks! But I'm thinking if it could be a bug in retrieving data from zigbee2mqtt because this has been happening for several months, and that value represents the general internal counter of the device (attached picture). The situation is repeated on several different devices and only if you disconnect the device for a short time. Should only take the Power value(instantaneouse power), but in this situation domoticz takes the sum of consumed energy from zigbee2mqtt.

Thank you!

That you did not tell before that you could reproduce that.
If you want this solved you have to capture the MQTT messages from zigbee2mqtt and report as a GitHub issue following these instructions: https://wiki.domoticz.com/MQTT_AD_Report_Problems
