Hi,
Everyone thanks for previous support!
Last thursday my SD card crashed. Luckily I had a database backup from last tuesday. So I installed a new OS and Domoticz on a new SD card and made a fresh start. I restored my backup, a process wich i interrupted after 12 hours cause I assumed something got stuck.
Previously I was on OS Bullseye (RAPI 3b) and Domoticz 2025.1. After restoring I'm on Bookworm and 2025.2 (and still on RAPI 3b).
After rebooting I noticed that only 6 of my 25 Z-Wave devices came back online under the Utility tab (kWh meters) and the rest of the devices are last updated pre backup.
When i look under settings --> devices I see that the same thing.
In settings --> hardware I see all devices are `last seen' after restoring Domoticz but, except the 6 devices wich update, the rest doens't update.
Any idea what I can do to fix this?
Re run restoring the database an option?
I use Open Zwave USB 1.6.
I'm aware that I need to convert to a new interface and I expected problems with the new OS/ Domoticz but I would also expect that none of the devices would work if that was the case. Also I noticed that some switches (the one I tried) don't update kWh but are operatable.

Re: Z-Wave problems after restoring from backup
One addition; most of the Z-Wave hardware are plugs of the make "Hank", combined switches/ kWh meters, some of them are online, others are not. A CO2 sensor of a diffrent make is online and Coolcam plugs are not.

Re: Z-Wave problems after restoring from backup
Did you try to refresh the node information in:
Settings > Hardware > Z-wave Settings > Select a not working NodeID and click: Refresh Note Info...can take a while.
(I am using the open z-wave hardware)
Settings > Hardware > Z-wave Settings > Select a not working NodeID and click: Refresh Note Info...can take a while.

Re: Z-Wave problems after restoring from backup
Excellent tip, except one node all of them are back online!
At first 6 devices came back but on second (and some on the thirth) attempt it worked.
Thx!
The one device that keeps bugging me is a coolcam motion sensor.
When I walk by it lits up so it has power but it fails to come back.
In case you have a suggeston its welcome, otherwise I'll reset and re-pair the device tomorrow.
Thx!
