No longer see gas prices in the graphs

Post by NvBgm »

Hello,
Since March of this year, I haven't seen gas prices in the Demotic graphs. I've been searching for a solution for a long time, but haven't found one yet. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? They're still showing up in other measurements, such as water, etc.

What are your settings for gas prices? And dit you set a way to calculate the gas prices in the Energy dashboard settings?

I think something else is wrong. In the Meter/counter settings, I don't have an option to set the Electric device price or Gas device price to Internal (Meter settings).
Just to be clear, I'm not using a dynamic price, just the one I set in the Meter/counter setup.

Perhaps clear your browser cache or try with a browser session in private/ incognito mode. The option should be visible.

Unfortunately, I've tried clearing the cache in three browsers, but to no avail. It seems it doesn't recognize my P1 energy meter, and therefore also the gas meter. The strange thing is, the water meter works fine. It's providing the data via a dummy.

It's even stranger because when I go to the gas meter log and look at the second graph, I don't see any costs at all, but when I look at the third graph, I see that the costs stopped at the end of March. When I switch from the log to the Report, I see the costs calculated for the entire year to date. In the reports, everything seems to be working fine, but not in the monthly and yearly subgraphs.

And this is precisely the case with electricity as well.

The most worrying is you write that you have no setting anymore in the meter/counter settings to set the cost calculation. That should be there unless you are using an old Domoticz version (you downgraded somehow?).

What version of Domoticz are you running (see menu Setup about)?

I fixed it; it was my mistake. The Enever Dutch Electricity/Gas Price Feed wasn't working properly. I reinstalled it, and lo and behold. Under Electricity and Gas Price Device, I can now choose between internal actual and daily, and of course, disable it. If I now choose Internal meter settings, the calculation would use the prices in RFXMeter/Counter Dividers.

I use the last beta version of Domoticz Version: 2025.1 (build 16794)

Thanks for your input.

Still no gas price calculation.
As before, I can now go to Meter/Counter Setup >> (Dynamic) Price calculation and select internal meter settings as the Gas Price Device. However, when I view the graph in Log: Gas meter, I still don't see a cost calculation. However, I do now see the cost calculation in Log: P1 Smart Meter. So that's resolved, but the gas price calculation still doesn't work.

Did you press save?
And you have to wait a day to see the costs showing in the graphs.

Of course you're right. I'm trying to see results too quickly again. I do see the price calculation in the popup now, so the green line will probably appear tomorrow. Thanks.
