How to build a better front end

Post by paul402 »

Is there a tutorial. I've invested lots of time over the years getting Domoticz to do what I want but I really don't like the way the data is displayed.
Before I start looking at alternative automation systems how would I be able to pull the data out in the way that I would like to see it.
What tools would I have to learn? I have tried some of the alternative front ends but they don't do it for me.
Would it be possible to have a bridge between HA and Domoticz? So many questions. Thanks.

Have you looked at Dashticz?
https://github.com/Dashticz/dashticz
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)
Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar

Why don't you create a new frontend for us with NodeJS/Angular? Just use the API calls on the wiki page
Are the logs/graphs not OK? What do you propose?
