What's up with MQTT ?

For devices supporting the Auto Discovery feature. Like ZWaveJS2MQTT, Zigbee2MQTT.

What's up with MQTT ?

Post by Varazir »

Hello

I removed 3 devices and one came back when I turned the hardware on and off.
I did a test with one device and it worked (now ID 911) so I thought it would work and deleted the other 2
Did it due to I hade issue that the other 2 device's didn't update, showed red.
It's the same physical hardware.

It should have a temperaturer and moist device as well.

As you can see in the MQTT explorer it's there and updated.
Why doesn't the battery get updated in Domoticz along with the other devices?

Did you also remove the retained MQTT config topics of this object in your MQTT broker?

Looked like my HA settings in Z2M was messed up as it was converted from an older version. Fixed now but I got bunch of new devices again. Oh well just redo the replace again

I think it's zwave JSU server sux, it stops sending kWh value and when I go to the web GU and update the meter It just push everything in one go to DOmoticz.

and I get this

after doing the refresh it starts to report to the MQTT again.

If you are using ZWaveJS or Zigbee2MQTT and you do not want to see a sensor value in Domoticz, make sure it does not send it
Another way is to put a $ character in front of the name in Domoticz, and it will not show up in the main tabs (but do in devices )
