1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
Hi,
i have this doorbell:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/1Byone-Wireless ... uctDetails
runs on 433Mhz and wanted to get it/try to get it added to domoticz / RFXCOM so i can do stuff (send notification) if someone presses it.
doorbell (transmitter)
speaker (receiver)
the speaker has "learning mode/code matching" button but as hardware's not listed not sure which options to choose??
i tried the light switch -> learn light/switch and pressed "Learning mode" on speak but to no avail.
tried the same with door bell, press door bell and learn mode but no luck.
i know it's really the doorbell i need to add to domoticz, anything else i could try?

This could be the same as the Select Plus / Quhwa wireless doorbell.Cybershot803 wrote:Hi,

Make sure your RFXtrx433(e) is updated with latest firmware (Select Plus is supported since 02-01-2015)
Set ByronSX as enabled.
When pushing the doorbell it should show up in devices summary.

i think this answers your question:

1. Unplug the door chime
2. Pull the battery from the door chime button
3. Enable "accept new hardware" in settings
4. Check undec & byron in RFXtrx433 hardware settings
5. Put the battery back in de door chime button
6. Press it a couple of times
7. Now go and see if Domo found some new unused devices
8. If found then add the new door chime to your switches
9. Now plug in the door chime in to your socket
10. Press the door chime button to learn the new code in to the door chime
11. Unplug the door chime again from the socket and wait a minute
12. Plug it back in and tick the button in your switch windows of Domo to learn it also
13. If all goes well then the Chime will work by Domo and button

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
i couldn't get this to work no matter how much i tried
confirmed mode on RFX was set to undec on and byron SX (everything else is set by default mode except lightwaverf is also enabled)
confirmed accept new hardware was enabled, i even tried with "allow for 5 minutes"... i did unhandled data received FE02 error but don't know if that was to do with my hardware sensors maybe...
any ideas why the chime button didn't show up in devices summary/ devices not used list
i also tried leaving battery out for longer and pressing and holding button and pressing button several times (detatched button and was in same room as RFX Transceiver so signal strength wasn't an issue either

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
Same problem here, followed the described steps but no banana. I can't get my (action) doorbell detected.
- Restarted my raspberry
- Only enabled Byron SX & undec on
- Removed the battery
- Put domoticz in discovery mode
Does the doorbell take a new transmitter id everytime you put in a battery?

It seems some buttons are not received or sometimes received.
We will do some tests next week with a few buttons and create a new firmware version.

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
The problem with the Quhwa (Action) could be because a different print is used. I bought two and no luck with either of them.
This is presumably the print that works at the moment:
Note that the pictures above are actually a 1byone but it should be the same as the Quhwa.
Both my prints read REV1.0 instead of 09.10.16. Would be great if this one could be added in the next firmware. On the revised print there are also holes for a second switch (SW2) on the back of the print.

My RFXtrx433 (FW 183) does pick up the signal of this doorbell.

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
Nice to hear, after trying for some time I managed the get the white one working. I'll keep trying to get the other working also, not that I need it but it would be nice and maybe I can use it for a different task.
Edit: tried switch 2 and it seems to send a different code each time it's pressed, domoticz sees it as different id's. Haven't tried what happens when I pull out the battery but it wouldn't surprise me if the code and thus the id changes everytime you put it back in. That's at least how I got it working.

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
I understood it was very specific about the make/model ie not a Byron SX then forget it.
You can only capture the bell signal when it's in learning mode (batteries just fitted to the bell end)

I have this exact same print and it doesn't work for me . Tried the RFXMNGR with undec and Byron on, to no avail. I'll wait until a new firmware comes out next week.g0dz0r wrote:The problem with the Quhwa (Action) could be because a different print is used. I bought two and no luck with either of them.

Firmware version 237 is available for download and all SelectPlus buttons should be received now.
If still problems contact support rfxcom.com
note that this firmware will also need a chance in Domoticz!
