Zigbee for Domoticz, Transfer old Log from old device to new device, Error

I don't understand how to transfer the log, When i press "Replace" on the old device and choose the new widget created by Zigbee for Domoticz. I lost the widget connection in zigbee for domoticz.

The Domoticz widgets in the red square disappears

It should work 2 ways. It depends on the last update time. So the old device should not be updated anymore so should have an old last seen date.

My method works with rfcom 433mhz and OpenZwave so I'm thinking the same tactics should have worked.

I even tried creating a fake temp sensor and moved the log to it and then transferred it to a Zigbeefordomoticz temp sensor.

Unfortunately, the intercession between domoticz and zigbee for domoticz disappears. Everything inside the red box disappears.

Could perhaps be an issue when multiple Domoticz devices are attached to the same zigbee node?

I'm not sure I understood what you want to do, but from what you described, indeed the plugin doesn't handle that, as it is not notified about this.

I have some zigbee sensors connected true xaomi gateway. I want to move/transfer them to the new zigbee for domoticz network.

My problem is that I also want to save the old sensorlog in domoticz when i migrate to the new zigbee for domoticz network.

That is possible with the replace function if the old and the new domoticz devices (eg temperature, energy counter etc) are of the same type. That is not always the case as Hardware gateways interpret combined devices sometimes differently.

Did not dig into this at the time because this was not data I really needed to keep, but a few weeks ago when I started to go zigbee (using zigbee4domoticz to avoid MQTT hassle) I changed a zwave plug that reports power consumption by another zigbee one that also reports power: I moved this one to optimize meshing for both protocols (zwave one moved to an area with poor meshing, zigbee one to have a repeater in a place where there was none).

Never managed to have replace working for the meter, so I gave up. This never was a problem between zwave devices sharing same characteristics, did so several times in the past... So not sure there is nothing more to check there, maybe not between protocols managed by domoticz core (this is supposed to work between OZW and MQTT-AD for instance, as this was needed for those that did the swap to zwavejs) but between those in core and plugin???

It is not hardware protocol but the Domoticz device has to be the same. You cannot merge a old temp/hum device into a new temp device.
You also cannot merge and old electric usage device into a electric instant and usage device. So check both Domoticz devices in the device list and they have to be the same.
