zigbee4domoticz after restart all devices gone

Post by jacobsentertainment »

Today I stopt my pi and wanted to make an image as backup. After this was done and inserted the sd card all zigbee devices in zigbee4domoticz are gone! tried using an older backup.db but nothing there.

So for the only thing about zigbee4domoticz that impresses me is that it all happens in domoticz and less limits for making rules.
But to be honest this is no upgrade compared to tasmota, half the devices are not recognized or not fully functional and the stability of plugin seems to be point of discussion to. I'm going offshore for two weeks, but by the looks of it when back home I'm going back to tasmota, nice user interface but lacks the power of an console and the functioning. Out of 7 device working on battery only two are recognized as battery powered, in tasmota all of them.

I never have these kind of issues, so it seems also you somehow have some unstable environment. The zigbee stick stores the paired devices internally. The plugin keeps a record of paired devices in a conf file. The Domoticz database stores all devices.

If your devices now suddenly are gone you did something yourself to mix things up.
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)
Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar
