Hi everyone, I've been running domoticz on a pi since 2016 and currently running Version: 4.10717 Build Hash: b38b49e5 Compile Date: 2019-05-09 13:04:08 dzVents Version: 2.4.19.
is there a way for me to upgrade to the latest version without losing my data and config. what would be the side effects ?

Probably your OS also needs an update.
And perhaps additional plugins.
Do you use OpenZwave? Because the current 2023.2 stable is the last version with OpenZwave. It is already removed from the latest beta.
But if you copy your complete Domoticz folder and put is somewhere safe you can retry anything.
