Zwave-js-ui and ZRC-90EU scenemaster NO scenes

Post by WBeulink »

I migrated from OpenZwave to Zwave-Js-UI.
Using AEON Labs ZStick Gen5.
Managed to get things up and running for my 8 Eurotronics Spirit Zwave Valves.
Stick and Spirits detected OK. Working OK.

Not the ZRC-90EU multiswitch! -- Unknown product 0xXXXX --
Buttons 1-time, 2-times and long are detected in UI.
For instance as: [12-91-0-scene-001] Scene 001 (to 008) value 0, 3 and 2 respectively.

But nothing gets send as meaningfull MQTT-message.
So nothing to receive by Domoticz as a Scene or Switch.
No trigger send.

When "Send Z-Wave-Events" is enabled in MQTT-settings these button-changes are shown as MQTT-messages.
But that doesn't help of course.

So. Does anyone of you have an idea what to do to make this work?

Forgot to add:
ZRC-90EU worked OK in OpenZwave.

Solution found.
ZRC-90EU has to wake up before it can properly be interviewed by ZWAVE-JS-UI.

So: press button W in the battery compartment and do a re-interview of the device.

Solved.
