Problems with IKEA outlet and remote

Hi all,

I am registering my Zigbee devices on a new Pizigate+ v2. I tried to add my IKEA Tradfri outlet and small aquare IKEA remote to the Pizigate but i am running into some problems.

My outlet and remote do not get found/registered properly, in the pugin they get registered as either a "LvlControl" or "Voltage" or "Alarm" device. Even a reset of both outlet and remote doesnt do anything (also tried restarting plugin/domoticz).

Is there anything else i can try?

Would be great if you could share some logs and more information on the plugin version you are using

Logs are available in Domoticz and also there is a specific logs in the Logs folder under the Zigbee for Domoticz plugin

Hi Pipiche,

I have been resetting my Pizigate a few times last two days, i have a feeling that this is being caused by a setting that i change on the advanced setting page in the plugin.

I can add devices without issues after clearing the Pizigate and starting over. However when i alter some settings (mainly related to groups) things seem to go wrong:

- I am pairing an IKEA Tradfri power outlet => works
- I am pairing an IKEA Tradfri remote (small squared one) => works
- I pair the small remote with the outlet (to work outside of the Pizigate) => after this things seem to go wrong (paired devices are no longer reacting to commands (even other outlets then the one i have paired with the remote)).

For now i have not paired the small IKEA remote with the outlet (using it only through Domoticz now) and so far everything seems to work still.

I have a feeling it is connected to the setting "zigatePartOfGroupTint". I have enabled it thinking it would automatically add the zigate to any groups created by devices but not sure if that is what it does to be honest....

This could be a good point. I know that Zigate has some limitation in terms of number of groups it can belongs too.
I'm not connected to the ZIgate vendor, so you might want to contact him about the limitation.

Since I have move my production from Zigate to TI and Silabs coordinators, Scene controlers, Remote are much easy to use
